Overview
CalculatorFox is a browser-based calculator library holding 1,336 tools spread across 23 subject areas, spanning mortgage amortisation, loan payments, payroll tax, BMI, GPA, unit conversion, concrete estimates and netmask maths. Each tool returns a live result set beside a "how this is worked out" panel; the mortgage example lists five numbered steps and cites HUD Mortgagee Letter 2023-05 alongside nine further references. Core use requires no account.
Embedding and hosted figures
The platform's main differentiator is embeddable calculators whose starting values live in an account rather than in page HTML. A rate, tax band or price can be changed once and every page carrying that embed picks up the new figure on its next load, with individual fields lockable. Advisor plans issue a separate token, colour scheme and figure set per website, so partner domains can publish different rates from the primary site.
Pricing and positioning
The catalogue is free to use and carries advertising on public pages. A Personal tier unlocks saved scenarios, side-by-side comparison, export and sharing, while Advisor adds branded client reports and client-grouped scenarios. Embeds remain free, ad-free and free of reader tracking, positioning the calculators as reusable publishing or advisory assets rather than one-off content.
